From Civil Wrongs to Civil Rights
John Walker
In commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Little Rock civil rights attorney John Walker gives a Clinton School lecture titled, "From Civil Wrongs to Civil Rights." Since opening one of the first racially integrated law firms in Little Rock in 1968, Walker has handled numerous and significant civil rights issues including the continuation of the Little Rock School Desegregation case. He is a member of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund Board of Directors and is the recipient of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association Warhorse Award.
