Lowell McAdam

Lowell McAdam is president and CEO of Verizon Wireless, currently the second largest wireless company in the U.S. Since joining the company in 2000, he served as chief operating officer until 2007 when he was named to his current position. In addition to his corporate duties, he serves as the chairman of the board of directors for the CTIA, the wireless industry trade association. Prior to joining Verizon, McAdam was president and CEO of PrimeCo, a joint venture between Bell Atlantic and Vodafone AirTouch. He holds a degree in engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of San Diego.
