Mark Strama

Mark Strama, a Democrat, was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2004 from the state’s 50th District. Before taking public office, he founded the first ever online voter registration company and served as director of programs for MTV’s Rock the Vote. After graduating from Brown University, he worked on Ann Richards’ successful 1990 campaign for governor and went on to become chief of staff for State Senator Rodney Ellis.
