Sajjad Shah is a Chartered Public Accountant and graduated from Butler University’s five-year intensive Accounting program in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following college, he spent one-year doing tax strategy for fortune 500 Companies at PricewaterhouseCoopers and then spent two years focusing on tax strategy and tax law for mid-size firms at BKD LLP. He went on to start his own boutique consulting firm called Shah & Co. LLC where he consults for start-up companies all across America.

He is the founder of the popular social media page, Muslims of the World, a platform that shares stories and seeks to give Muslims a voice. He is also the founder and president of the non for profit, Muslims of the World which aims to help Muslims navigate through today’s world while embracing Islamic principles. He is the brains behind the branding and marketing of Minder, the number one most downloaded Muslim marriage app in the world. He is the lead consultant for Wahed Invest which is the largest Shariah complaint investment platform in North America. He serves on the board for several non for profits but spends most of his time focusing on bringing global attention to the humanitarian crisis in Yemen with Pure Hands, a non for profit that focuses on getting aide into Yemen. He is a lover of traveling and is a part-time student at Al-Hasnain School where he studies Classical Arabic and Poetry.

“Muslims of the World” tells the diverse stories of Muslims living in the U.S. and around the world. Illustrated throughout with moving photographs, each chapter focuses on different aspects of the Islamic faith and the many varying cultures it encompasses, offering tales of love, family, and faith while empowering Muslim women, refugees, and people of color. Whether it is telling a story about a young Syrian refugee who dreams of being a pilot or about a young girl’s decision to not remove her hijab, which in turn saved her family’s life, Muslims of the World aims to unite people of all cultures and faiths by sharing the hopes, trials, and tribulations of Muslims from every walk of life.
