Founded in 1976, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre is the state’s largest non-profit professional theatre company. Known as "The Rep", the company has produced more than 300 productions, including 40 world premieres. The Rep's historic building contains a 385-seat MainStage and 99-seat black box SecondStage and is located in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. The Rep is currently led by Robert Hupp, who has been Producing Artistic Director since 1999. 

The Arkansas Repertory Theatre discusses the process of writing, scoring and producing the brand-new musical production of “Treasure Island.” The musical offers a fresh, new take on the famous story by Robert Louis Stevenson, set to a thrilling musical score.
